Free Introductory session:
Wednesday 12th February, 6-7.30pm
Harambee OBU are offering a six week course introducing you to the key principles of Black Studies, delivered by Professor Kehinde Andrews. The course will explain what Black Studies is, why it is important and how vital understanding the contributions, perspectives and experiences of Africa and the African diaspora is to our future. There will be limited in person spaces at the Marcus Garvey Centre, and you will also be able to participate online. The first session is free, once you sign up you will get a full course outline including recommend readings.
The full course will start on Thursday 6th March and run weekly in person at the Marcus Garvey Centre and online on Zoom.
